Paramore Biography
Paramore is a wildly popular band that originated in the United States. The band consists of five members with a
female lead vocalist by the name of Hayley Williams. The band has origins in Tennessee and the other members are
Josh Farro on the bass, Zac Farro is the drummer, and the guitarist Taylor York. Paramore got together in 2004 and
have been growing strong ever since.
Their first album was released in 2005 titled All We Know Is Falling. This album put Paramore on the map and
this is where Paramores original following started. Their second album gained more attention than the first when it
was released in 2007 under the name of Riot and this album went platinum.
Riot received worldwide recognition and many fans in other countries discovered this album and also discovered
Paramore. Their highest charted album so far is Brand New Eyes released in 2009 to raving reviews. This album has
been wildly popular and helped to make Paramore a well known name.
Hayley met the Farro brothers when she was 13 in private school and formed a lasting friendship with these
brothers. She took vocal lessons during this time and enhanced her talent to be ready to become a real band with
the Farro brothers.
Paramore is regarded as "emo" music, or even punk rock and this is something that strikes a cord with a whole
new generation. Many people are fans of the raw lyrics and Hayley’s voice. The band has changed several members
over the years, but they have stayed true to the roots of their music and this is what fans have relied on with
Paramore.
Paramore has won many awards over the years and these are both local and international. They MTV music award is
something that they have repeatedly won for a variety of reasons. The Teen Choice Awards is another award that
Paramore has repeatedly won. The music of Paramore can be heard on the video games Sims 2, Rock Band, and even
Guitar Hero.
Paramore is a band that you will hear much more about in the future and with such international acclaim, their
popularity will continue to increase. It can be hard for any band to break out especially internationally and this
is something that Paramore has continued to do. They will stay true to their sound and their roots and this is why
many of their fans will continue to look forward to the next release of their album.
